The Inmalog Bike Trail in San Fabian, Pangasinan is one of the popular and mostly-visited trails in Pangasinan. As its popularity continues to boost, our Tabakoleros Bike Gang certainly would not want to miss the hype. And so, in November 19, 2017, as my post-bday ride, we celebrated the morning in this wonderful bike trail.
In this first-ever climb with these four gentlemen, T.M. PALTAK was born! (Team of Mountaineers from Pangasinan, La Union and Tarlak) In our effort to come up with the most creative and forceful name for our team, we ended up with that. Creative, indeed, however, probably an antithesis of what you call decent. Nevertheless, it’s still creative and it’s intriguing! Pangasinenses surely know the literal meaning of it. That's just a filler. Now, let’s talk about the real thing - Mt. Pigingan.
It was a fine day! The sun was up and the sky blue. Pausing for pictures is a must to keep documents of the moments and, of course, to provide rest for our complaining legs. Walking under towering pine trees, the scent fresh and regenerating, while staring at mountain tops and ridges, waves of clouds appeared to be kissing the mountains and blowing energy to its visitors, sharing its wonders as they commune with nature. I wish you were here.
The environment was tranquil. The hypnotic splash of the water falls creates a sound that makes the atmosphere persuasive for me not to think of anything, hypnotized as I stare at the glimmering, clear water of the streams, losing all thoughts but of my presence in a paradise.
